D’Ieteren’s Board of Directors appointed Francis Deprez as Group CEO. Francis Deprez was already a member of the Executive Committee since 2016.

Nicolas D’Ieteren, Chairman of the Board of Directors: "The Board is delighted to have found the right person within the group to act as CEO.  This is a token of the talent of our management teams.  As a member of the Executive Committee for nearly 3 years, Francis is perfectly familiar with our Group; its ambitions, its challenges, its organization, its family shareholders and its values. His previous experience in strategic consulting but also in the executive management of international companies will be particularly useful and will enable the group to continue to move towards a new chapter, while ensuring the development and consolidation of each of our activities.

Francis Deprez adds: “I feel extremely honored and grateful to get the opportunity to lead D’Ieteren during this next and exciting chapter in its long existence. I am happy that I can count on a strong and supportive team around me, especially with Arnaud Laviolette, my colleague in the Executive Committee. Together with the D’Ieteren family and the Board, we will consistently pursue our strategy, which is to develop our existing businesses for excellence and for the long term, relying on our seasoned management teams at D’Ieteren Auto, Belron and Moleskine, and to continue to look for additional value-creating investment opportunities to complement our family of businesses.

Francis Deprez (54 y/o) holds a degree in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp (UFSIA) and an MBA from Harvard Business School.  He worked for fifteen years at McKinsey & Company, including eight as a Partner, five years at Deutsche Telekom as Senior VP Strategy and five years at Detecon International as CEO. Since September 2016, he has been a member of the Executive Committee at D’Ieteren.
